The fourth of November is celebrated by Alice fans as Looking Glass Day. It is the day that Alice took a trip through a mirror and found herself in that backward land, playing a life-sized game of chess.

We in Wonderland House think that, to maximise our chances of finding a way into Looking Glass World, a genuine antique Victorian overmantle mirror is something of a necessity. So we've done a bit of window shopping. (Click pictures to enlarge)

The backgrounds to our mirrors are by William Morris, Victorian artist and craftsman (amongst other things.) He is very famous for his wallpaper designs. Have a look at some of his designs, he's pretty amazing.
